The duration of studies in the Master’s Program is 18 months (1.5 years). It consists of two (2) semesters of study and one (1) semester of preparing the Master’s Diploma Thesis (MDE).

Classes take place at the premises of the University of Piraeus, usually Monday to Thursday from 18:15 to 21:00 (it is possible to carry out additional teaching, main, auxiliary or seminar depending on the needs of the Program). Students must successfully enroll in taught courses for two academic semesters and the Postgraduate Diploma Thesis at M.Sc. during the third semester.

The program is structured as follows:

1st Semester (WINTER)

The First Semester starts in October and ends in January. It includes four compulsory courses. Each course consists of 10 lectures or laboratory sessions. After the end of the semester, the examination period follows in February. There the students are examined for their knowledge either through exams or through the preparation of exculpatory assignments.

2nd Semester (SPRING)

The Second Semester starts in March and ends in June. It includes four compulsory courses. Each course consists of 10 lectures or laboratory sessions. After the end of the semester, the examination period follows in July. There the students are examined for their knowledge either through exams or through the preparation of exculpatory assignments.

3rd Semester (WINTER)

The 3rd Semester starts in October.
